Job Description:
A company is looking for a Crisis Counselor, fully remote in
Pennsylvania.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with individuals over the phone, providing support to those
experiencing emotional distress or mental health challenges
Assess and mitigate risk while maintaining accurate documentation
and providing resources as needed
Intervene during emergencies and assist callers in developing
safety plans and coping strategies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited 4-year college or
university
Minimum of 1 year direct experience in Behavioral Health or Social
Services
Strong background in psychology, social work, counseling, or a
related behavioral healthcare field
Ability to maintain a secure, HIPAA-compliant workspace
Flexibility to work holidays and weekends as part of a 24/7 crisis
call center
