Registered Nurse - Perioperative Nurse - Operating Room - Travel -
(OR RN)
StartDate: 12/10/2024
Available Shifts: 8 D
Pay Rate: $3248.14 - $3579.58
Total # of beds in the unit:8. Average daily census:30-40. Age
Groups: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
Unit Patient population: General Surgical Cases, Neuro, Ortho,
Abdominal surgeries, GYN, Urological surgeries, Plastics, ENT.
Certifications/Skills required: BLS, Scrub & Circulate. Special
medications on the unit: Anesthesia gives medications. Procedures
that could cause ethical issues: Yes, termination of
pregnancy.Depending on census will float if necessary. Scrubs
provided.
Required Qualifications1-year recent (within the last 3 years)
full-time equivalent experience in an acute hospital Operating Room
or Surgicenter, including circulating on a variety of surgical
procedures in multiple specialties, or successful completion of a
KP Operating Room course or approved equivalent within prior 12
months. Ability to scrub as required. Ability to take call within a
30 minute response time.
