• Certification Details
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred, not required for just ER placements.
• AHA Healthcare Provider only - Must be signed copy of the front and back.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required for RRT and all RNs except for specified units.
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure required for Respiratory Therapy and NICU.
• Pass/Fail Testing requirements for certain certifications.
• CA License verification must be done within 30 days of start date.

  • THIS IS A CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL POSITION - PEDIATRIC ICU EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
  • Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested.
  • Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity.
  • Experience: Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG.
  • Patient Population: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, neurosurgery. Trauma, hem onc, DKA if PH or altered consciousness.
    • Job Requirements
    • CA License.
    • First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED.
    • BLS.
    • PALS.
    • 2 full recent years of Pediatric ICU experience (PICU, CTICU, CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL).
      • Schedule Information
      • 3x12 variable or straight night.
      • (4-5 weekend shifts sat-sun on day shift and then 5-6 shifts of fri-sat nights - traveler gets off one full weekend every 4 week schedule).
      • Max 6 days of Requested Time Off (Must still get 3 shifts in per week).
      • Must work 2 out of the 3 holidays.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • This position requires critical care experience in a Pediatric ICU.
        • Experience with multiple patient acuities and a variety of medical equipment is important.
          • Additional Details
          • Valid photo ID is required.
          • Must have front and back copies of ID.
          • Traveler must present ID on their first day.
