Job Description:

*Job Duties and Responsibilities** Preparation of patient for CT scans including patient interviews, obtaining medical history, obtaining patient consent and required signatures, and conducting patient teaching related to CT imaging procedure and what to expect during the examination* Assess patients' blood pressure, pulse, respirations, and establish Peripheral Intravenous (IV) access* Preparation and administration of beta-blockers prior to and during CT exam* Under the direct supervision of the on-site physician, application of ACLS algorithms if patients experience heart problems or cardiac arrest during procedure including administration of resuscitation pharmacological agents, oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal airway placement and suctioning if indicated* Completion of daily paperwork to include obtaining physician signature(s), photocopying, and faxing* Must comply with established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety and environmental standards*Requirements:** Active Paramedic License or Credentialed by CCI (CCT) required* ACLS Certified* A minimum of one year of experience as a paramedic* Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Practice Management Systems preferred* Ability to work well with others in a professional manner in a team-oriented environmentJob Type: Full-timePay: $67,813.46 - $81,667.82 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Day shift* Monday to FridayExperience:* IV insertion: 1 year (Preferred)Language:* English (Required)* Spanish (Preferred)License/Certification:* Paramedic License (Required)* Certified Cardiographic Technician (Preferred)* ACLS Certification (Preferred)* IV Certification (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* San Diego, CA 92123 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* San Diego, CA 92123: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)Work Location: In person
