The Opportunity: VP, National Advertising Sales
As a VP, National Advertising Sales, you will lead strategic efforts to position Captivate's elevator and lobby networks as essential advertising platforms for national and multi-market advertisers. Your role involves engaging high-profile brands and their media agencies-including OOH, video investment teams, and agency trading desks. Your goal is to meet your assigned annual quota by positioning the Captivate brand, including complementary products and opportunities, in a strategic and compelling fashion to secure and grow advertising revenue. This position demands top-tier leadership in developing innovative sales strategies, strengthening industry relationships, and spearheading high-impact campaigns. Your influence will extend through industry events, partnerships, and leveraging the comprehensive support of our marketing and research teams.
Salary Range: $175,000 to $200,000
What You'll Do:


  • Lead strategic sales engagements with high-value clients and agencies, championing Captivate's value proposition.
  • Shape and oversee sales strategies to penetrate targeted markets and elevate brand partnerships, especially in key verticals.
  • Manage the complete sales lifecycle, from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and client stewardship.
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue goals while ensuring superior service and campaign performance.
  • Innovate programmatic and cross-platform media solutions to meet evolving client needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships within agencies and brands, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the account's organization, needs and revenue potential.
  • Represent Captivate as an industry thought leader through networking and participation in relevant business and media forums.

    What You Bring:

    • 8+ years of successful experience in advertising sales, with a focus on national clients and senior agency relationships.
    • The ability to sell through innovative multi-platform media programs.
    • Demonstrated expertise in digital media and OOH sales, with a proven track record of driving significant revenue.
    • Proficiency in Salesforce and familiarity with programmatic advertising solutions.
    • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
    • A history of surpassing performance targets and building influential client and partner relationships.
    • High energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and a proactive approach to achieving results.

      Where You'll Be:

      • You will be working out of our LA office.
      • Captivate has a strong office culture and has returned to work in-person Tuesdays to Thursdays, with the option to work remote on Mondays and Fridays for now.
