Job description: CUAS DIRECTOR OF FEDERAL SALES (Remote)
$180,000 - $250,000 base, plus performance-based incentivesThe CUAS
Director of Federal will be responsible for expanding existing
presence in the federal and DoD markets, transforming current
contracts into larger programs and securing new high-value
opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven
track record of scaling federal sales in a startup environment.Key
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to grow federal
and DoD business
- Transform existing contracts into larger, more comprehensive
programs
- Identify and pursue new federal opportunities aligned with the
client's capabilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key
decision-makers in federal agencies and the DoD
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and executive teams to
align offerings with federal needs
- Represent The Client at industry events, conferences, and
high-level meetings
- Provide regular reports and forecasts on federal sales pipeline
and performance Qualifications:
- Experience in CUAS federal sales, with a focus on DoD
contracts
- Proven track record of growing federal contracts from small
initial engagements to large-scale programs
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Deep understanding of federal procurement processes,
regulations, and compliance requirements
- Strong network of contacts within federal agencies and the
DoD
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation
skills
- Strategic thinking and ability to navigate complex sales cycles
